Well, I remembered to vote. Actually I didn't, though I did wonder why so many cars were hanging u-turns in the drive. It was only when I popped into town and saw they were all stopping at the community hall that it sunk in (and then only by the time I was half-way into Oatlands)...

On the way back from Oatlands I did spot someone I needed to discuss some work with, and managed to have a chat with him, but otherwise stuck indoors doing next to nothing - apart from a load of washing) and reading a book.

The bantam remains in residence. I will give someone a call later and see if she remains willing to accept the damn bird even if it now comes complete with chickens.
