Well OK, so five degrees was optimistic. Four point five is almost there, right? And minus four tonight (and the next two nights), well it's winter isn't it.....

There were a few flurries of snow around, but mainly fine hail and rain, and not terribly much of that. Occasional sunshine even managed to clear a space for me to cut some more wood (which is increasingly becoming rather damp). But mainly I cleaned a cottage, walked the dogs and stayed warm. Seemed the only sensible thing to do.
