I have a couple of mini beef wellingtons in the oven right now. Found a slab of Porterhouse steak - heavily marbled -  at the supermarket for $5.50. I have to assume it was a pricing error but I grabbed it while I could!

Bank and cottage cleaning today and was all done by ten. Normally on a Wednesday that means I could go to sewing but I was feeling a little squarmish as I have been over-indulging in raw almonds. All better now, but a day of rest seemed like a good idea as it was rather chilly today as well.

Time to go make some mash and peas to serve with that steak I think.
