It was a lovely sunny warm day today - so nice it inspired me to get stuck into the housework that has lain dormant for some time what with one thing and another. So I scraped the bathroom back to its 'new' appearance and did the same for the laundry, did loads of washing, did loads of dishwashing (even the animal bowls got a good scrubbing) and so am now exhausted and the house is festooned like a chinese laundry. Still, it smells nice and looks good and the other rooms will be dealt with progressively over the next few days if the mood continues. The polytunnel notes have been well received and the rest of the work is being done tomorrow. Meanwhile I will also have wood to cut. Spotted her next door over the road helping herself to cuttings in the neighbour's garden - while said neighbour was at work. And you wonder why I assume the worst of her behaviour in my absence... Glad to see that Blogspot has removed the obligatory title field - it was getting quite tiresome. A relatively mild night tonight - in the positive temperatures at least. So it will be nice to be able to get up to running water once more.
