I seriously wonder what my electrician does for brains at times. A registered post letter has been sitting in his post office box for the last week and has not been collected. How can anyone run a business that way?

Anyway, I guess I will just have to wait and see if it is collected. If not, not sure what the next step is? Whatever it is, it will not be pleasant for him, because if I have to pay someone else to finish off the paperwork, then that will be coming off his bill. And that is the least unpleasant future that awaits. grrrr

Today started downright chilly and with a three hour stint on the forum I was glad to be able to start moving around a bit after. Even if it was not doing much. I planted three more rows of seeds - two different varieties of carrots and some red onions for salads. Two of the other rows have come up, but i have no idea what they are as the labels have been washed clean with the rain we have had.

Today was the penultimate roundup for the auction which closes at 8pm GMT tomorrow. It took two of us three hours as I said, but we spent a fair bit of time doing other things like rescuing burning food in slowcookers (Gill) and investigating odd noises (me). Tomorrow there will be four of us on the go which sounds better, but will just be a bit more chaotic as one spends a lot of time undoing posts that have gone up at the same time as someone else's. Sigh. And a seven am start will see me spending my morning in my PJs I suspect.


All of this assumes that my service is functioning, which it doesn't seem to be doing terribly well at present. And just when it does, Firefox collapses on me. Not my day.
