Today is normally our quilting day, but today we went to Pontville for lunch instead. I had a large pile of lamb cutlets (crumbed, of course) with broccoli, jacket potato, carrots and savoury cabbage (whatever that is), followed by a nice big mug of hot chocolate. We were all so full that we passed on dessert, though the pineapple and ginger pudding did look rather tempting... Home to a chilly house (and pets) to light the fire as the mizzle resumed fairly solidly outdoors. They say it will go away tomorrow (having changed their minds about the threat of snow) and provide fog followed by sunshine. Personally I think the sun has emigrated and won't be back for a bit longer. Minus 1 tonight, so time to stoke up that fire and settle down to finish my book.
