It rained last night but i was oblivious to the fact - sleeping in until 8 this morning - it was so hot last night when I went to bed it was sheets only as covering - 24.9 in the bedroom! So the cooler air from the rain was a blessed relief. 15mm overnight and another 16 so far today! Hopefully the tank will be full soon.

Spent much of the morning doing the midnight roundup for the Auction and the rest of the afternoon sewing, but for some strange reason we broke up early and I was home by 3.30 to feed the poultry and head for shelter. It is still quite warm - no idea of the temp but warm ... but I lit the fire as I do rather like a fire on a rainy evening whatever the temperature.
